Dr. Golden attended medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He joined Lee OB/GYN in 1987 after completing his residency at UAB. He practiced Obstetrics until 2017 but now practices Gynecology only.

Dr. Golden served as Chief Medical Officer at EAMC from 2017-2022. He served as the Robotic Surgery Director at EAMC for many years and also served as Chief of Staff at EAMC. He was the Chairman of  the Alabama Section; American College of OB/GYN and he has served as the Medical Director at Women's Hope Medical Clinic for the last 25 years.

​Dr. Golden and his wife of 45 years, Cindy, have three children and six grandchildren and they hope for more!  His hobbies include playing golf, lake activities and Auburn sports. He is a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
